Tendinopathy, Tendinosis , Tendon Tear 

Tendinopathy is a broad term for any condition affecting tendons, the rope-like tissues connecting muscles to bones. It can cause pain and swelling. Here are some key points:

  1. Types of Tendinopathy:

    • Tendinitis: Inflammation of a tendon due to sudden injury or repetitive activities.

    • Tendinosis: Degeneration of collagen fibers in a tendon, often caused by overuse.

  2. Common Tendinopathies:

    • Achilles tendinitis: Affects the Achilles tendon in the heel.

    • Patellar tendinitis: Involves the kneecap tendon.

    • Rotator cuff tendinitis: Affects the shoulder joint stability.
